The collection of Dixie and Gray Keller along with Contemplative Art Project Foundation comprise a mix of established and emerging artists working in a variety of mediums, textures and practices. Together, we focus on works of art that undergird a contemplative philosophy. Artists within the collection entail some of the following: Andy Warhol, Barbara Kruger, CJ Hendry, Damien Hirst, Edmund de Waal, Fred Sandback, Hank Willis Thomas, Kehinde Wiley, Rashid Johnson, Robert Longo, Shilpa Gupta, Sydney G. James, and Theaster Gates.
As a result, Contemplative Art Project exhibits a vast and varied collection of artwork ranging from audio art, to video art, works in pottery, glass, steel, tar, yarn, felt and thread installations to more traditional works ranging from oil paintings to works on paper. Realizing people come from a vast and varied perspective throughout life, it is also important to exhibit works reflecting a diverse cultural approach to being.
